Ferron 3 documentation

Ferron 3 is a configurable web server for static sites, reverse proxying, TLS, and more. Use the sidebar to jump to the guide you need.

Start here

If you are new to Ferron, follow this path:

1. Install Ferron using the guide that matches your platform.
   • Linux installer
   • Debian/Ubuntu
   • RHEL/Fedora
   • Docker
   • Windows installer
   • Manual installation
   • Build from source with default modules
   • Build from source with custom modules
2. Read Getting started to choose static serving, reverse proxying, or a mixed setup.
3. Use Troubleshooting if the server does not start or the site does not respond.
4. Move on to Configuration syntax and the related directive pages when you want directive-level details.
