Introducing Ferron 2 LTS

Published on:

We’re excited to introduce Ferron 2 LTS - versions of Ferron with long-term support, and bug and security fixes backported from newer versions of Ferron.

These releases of Ferron are for those who value stability and long-term support over new features, when it comes to their web infrastructure.

We have also released the first version of Ferron 2 LTS - Ferron 2.6.1 LTS.

What will be in Ferron 2 LTS?

Ferron 2 LTS versions will be based on earlier versions of Ferron 2, with bug and security fixes backported from newer versions of Ferron. This is to ensure stability of web server setups, while also making sure the security updates and bug fixes reach those setups, making them even more stable.

These versions will not include many of the new features nor potentially breaking changes that may be introduced in newer versions of Ferron.
