I’m looking for a co-maintainer for the ferronweb/ferron project on GitHub.
Ferron is currently maintained by a single volunteer (Dorian Niemiec). As the project grows (and becomes critical infrastructure), having a co-maintainer is essential, without one, the project would stall if I become unavailable. A co-maintainer ensures the project stays resilient, with security patches and correctness updates reaching users, even if I’m becoming unavailable.
What we’re looking for:
- Comfortable reading and contributing to Rust code
- Familiarity with web infrastructure, and common web server software
- Bonus: prior contributions to Ferron
No prior maintenance experience is required; I’m happy to onboard someone who’s passionate about the project.
